Overhead Door Closers

The new Elite range of overhead door closers is a totally exclusive universal design combining the two illustrated methods (fig.1 & 6) of door controls in the one unit with both the cover and fixing bracket available in the selected colours.

An existing door closer can be converted on site by the following means:

A fig.1 type door closer can be easily converted to a fig.6 by first removing the end caps and face slide, refitting the slide on the back of the closer and finally replacing the fig.1 fixing bracket by a fig.6 fixing bracket. Both of these types are supplied as standard for the profiled and rectangular versions of the door closers.

Elite door closers can be fitted with a wide variety of options as listed below. When ordering, supply details of the specific type and use of the door closer together with the size and weight of the doors involved and all other relevant information, in order that the correct specification can be incorporated.

1. Delayed action for those areas specifically frequented by the old and infirm using disabled walking frames and wheelchairs.
2. Extra heavy duty for industrial areas or where extra heavy fire doors are being installed.
3. Extra light duty for those areas used by the elderly, infirm and very young.
4. A selection of flush fitting and dovetail brackets are available to suit special architrave and frame requirements.
