The Chroma Range

Introduction To Elite's range of ironmongery, available in polished aluminium, sateen and polished brass, and polished and sateen stainless steel, has been added an entirely new series of exciting colours carefully selected with today's buildings. The range comprises twelve standard colours including black and white with the option of a further twelve pastel colours from the RAL range supplied to special order. Samples of these colours are available on request. Each of these colours can also be used together to provide colour contrast, for example, between handles and backplates, extending the designer's choice and providing further opportunities for an individual approach. The colour is achieved by applying Syntha Pluvin to the Elite range of aluminium ironmongery. Syntha pluvin is a weather resistant thermosetting powder coating system, which has been in continuous and extensive use since 1970. All products carry their ten year guarantee which covers the principal properties of gloss, colour retention and general weatherability, and the coatings comply with BS 6496:1984 and BS 6497:1984. Syntha Pluvin have been awarded the British Board of Agrément Certificate No. 84/1361. Full details of the performance of Syntha Pluvin are available upon request. General Notes for Specifiers This site contains complete references for all standard coloured Elite ironmongery. When ordering, the colour or colour mix required should be stated. All screws supplied are normally zinc plated. Screws specifically finished to match the colour selected for each item will be supplied to special order where required. The colours shown on this site are only a representation of the finished colour and actual samples are available on request for final selection. On this site, where lever handles are available in right and left handed versions, only the right handed version is illustrated. Please note that for the 100, 200, 300, 400, and 700 series lever furniture, all backplates are available to suit any lock not shown. Typical specials and locks include Abloy, Assa, Best and Kaba.
